“ The bagels were delicious. We arrived around 9 am and there was a line out the door. The line moved very quickly. Once we ordered, the bagels came out shortly after. We got a breakfast bagel on rosemary garlic & a lox bagel on Chicago. The Chicago bagel was delicious with the salmon. I wish there would've been a little more cream cheese added to each of the sandwiches, but otherwise the portions were delicious. They gave so much salmon! The restaurant inside is small, but they have some seating & standing room. I ordered a matcha. It was delicious! They don't sweeten their matcha, but have sides of syrups you can add to customize your own drink. I thought that was really cool. There were a variety of bagels and spreads. I highly recommend if you're staying in Chicago for a weekend. You could even get it to go and walk near the water to enjoy. ”

Very quality food and worth the wait as even on a Wednesday morning, there was a line out the door. However, they seem to have the process down because they moved through orders fairly quickly! Definitely worth trying out if you are a bagel lover. ”

“ Service was great- ordered ahead for pick up and even though I came 10 mins early, the worker there was so kind and helped me get my order started. It wasn't too busy when I got there on a Friday around 7:45 am, but it did start to pick up around 8. There are 5 small tables inside with a self serve mini bar of condiments and creamer/ syrups for coffee. The bagel itself was good. It was soft chewy and easy to bite into. The sandwich overall could use some more flavor. I got caramelized onion cream cheese on the side which was the right choice because it was pretty salty. But I guess that could've added more flavor if I included it in the bagel sandwich. I wish it was cheesier too- that's just my preference. Worth a try but I've definitely had better elsewhere! (In New York specifically lol) ”

“ This is my favorite bagel shop of all time, the flavors they have & the different combinations you can make w the different bagels & cream cheeses are unreal. Their cream cheese is really creamy & not thick like regular cream cheese. The consistency is almost like a mayo/aioli, it's so good. My favorite sandwich by far is the chicken caesar sandwich on a Cacio e Pepe bagel with caramelized onion cream cheese. A MUST TRY. Inside is always super clean & service is pretty fast, I've only ever came when they JUST open to avoid crowds & anything selling out but they get busy pretty fast & people will line up at the door before open! ”

“ I stopped in for a bagel around 8 AM on a Saturday and there was no line, but the dining area was full. The shop was clean and the staff was welcoming! The bagels on display behind the counter were enticing and I noticed flavors I haven't seen at other bagel shops. They offer a weekly rotating special, as well. I ordered a toasted cacio e pepe bagel with sundried tomato cream cheese, to go. It was ready within a couple of minutes. I had gotten there just in time before a big crowd arrived. The bagel was delicious! The perfect balance between crispy and chewy, and a nice amount of cream cheese without being overwhelming. I can't wait to come back to Tilly Bagel Shop to try other combinations. ”

“ So good! It has the nice chew of a New York bagel but with more fun bagel and cream cheese flavors. They run out of bagels on the weekend so come early or go on a weekday. Last time I was there, my only options were plain and blueberry. There needs to be another one ”

“ Hands down, Tilly's is one of best places to grab fresh and flavorful bagels in the city. The sourdough bagels and schmears come in a variety of unique flavors (hello rosemary garlic and sundried tomato!). I've ordered both individual bagels in-person and bulk orders online, and each was a hit. The ambience and customer service is always warm and inviting, but the crowds may deter some people. It's well worth the wait, but online ordering is great if you want to guarantee getting popular flavors. ”

“ Finally found the best bagels in Chicago! So so soft and their cream cheese is also amazing!! I got the everything bagel with the jalapeño cream cheese and we tried the potato breakfast sandwich both of which were amazing. Can't wait to come back! ”

“ I placed an online order from here. Initially the website quoted 45-50 minutes for the order to be made. Right when it asked me to pay it updated the yea to 72 minutes. A little crazy. I get that they can be busy but damn that's a long time. We showed up about 30 minutes before the promised time and it obviously wasn't ready yet. The staff was very kind and was able to push the order through without any issues. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese un toasted on an everything bagel, an everything toasted sausage, egg and cheese, and a plain toasted with honey vanilla. These were all ok but nothing special. The everything bagel had fennel which was something new for me on an everything bagel. One thing I was not a big fan of was the type of egg they used. I prefer a traditional fried egg. It also had a weak cheese pull if they're into that type of thing. Great staff overall but not worth the wait. ”
